There's no doubt that Canada is a north country and that our winters here in Toronto can occasionally be a little tough. But that is no reason to hold any person back from getting out there and enjoying the town to the fullest. To ease the winter blues, the Town of Toronto has developed a collection of specialised activities devoted to bringing the town to life in mid-winter. The WinterCity Holiday is a city-wide party of Toronto's culinary offerings ( the preferred Winterlicious diner promotion ), an array of free entertainment events and a showcase of Toronto's colourful humanities scene, featuring onstage music, dance, theatre, sight shows, rink-side concerts and even aerial acrobatic performances.

The Whale Shark has a flattened head, blunt muzzle and barbels sticking out from its nostrils. Rhincodon Typus, The Whale Shark, has back and sides that are gray to brown with white spots and vertical and horizontal pale stripes. They are going to be joined onstage by VIP guest star Dave Edmunds and proficient vocalists Ruby Turner & Louise Marshall.

Not merely will The Tattoo celebrate the 250th anniversary of the arrival of Scotland's state bard, Robert 'Rabbie ' Burns, it'll host Scotland's first Homecoming Holiday , and also celebrate its own 60th staging of the event. At this time the Goddess is recently with kid, having united and become married to the Sun God at Beltane. This is influenced by the festival's role in the cycle of the God and Goddess. So Litha, with Beltane, became a seriously well liked occasion for marriages ( known as hand fasting ) and for celebrating new life.
